Romiley Battle Result
On Fridday 2th April 2008 SPS enetered an invitation battle at Romiley. 9 clubs took part each enetering 5 digital images for projection. A minimum of 4 members work had to be submitted.Gordon Jenkins was the judge and was as thorough and entertaining as usual. ( He got it a bit wrong because we didn't win!!).
Oldham were the clear winners with Hyde coming second. Sale PS were joint third with4 other clubs so it was not a flop.
The images entered were:
1. Lavender field by Richard Parrish score 15.
2. Jetty sheds by John McNally score 18
3. Sawfly caterpillars by Ken Matthews score 16
4. Peewit by John Earnshaw score 19
5. Esthwaite morning by Graham Shaw score 16.
Thanks to all whoe entered work for selection and to the 6 members who turned up to support the club. Well done.
